James was born and raised in the County of Devon where he spent many happy years until he left to go to The University of Southampton, qualifying in Law. Thereafter, James finished his studies at the University of Exeter. Training and qualifying at a local law firm, James quickly took an active interest in litigation, particularly clients, whom through no fault of their own had suffered injury as a result of another’s negligence. James’ interest led him to specialising for those persons who had suffered hearing loss or developed an asbestos condition due to their former or current employers working practices. James quickly understood the varying needs of his clients and has built up strong links with the local community and beyond. Keen to further the needs of injured persons, James is an active member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers (APIL)
In his spare time James likes to travel and both watch and participate (mainly badly!) in as many sporting activities as time permits.
